Lyme Regis Big Beer Festival
Time & Location
About The Event
As well as beer, we’re celebrating Lyme musical talent, with a few acts from further afield. Irish music, cumbia, reggae, gypsy, covers, sea shanties, morris dancing, and even a brass band – there will be music to suit all.
Outside, there's the best local street food outfits. Beer is £4 a pint! Entry is £5 each day!
Music Line Up:
Town of Cats
This Brighton based band is a festival favourite, having recently signed to Midnight Mango. Town Of Cats offer Afrobeat, Ska with lashings of Latino and a side of Funk, especially for the dancefloor.
Fromage En Feu
This lively faux French 6 piece plays Balkan music to Klezmer, via a Grecian Tavern. Expect a BIG sound, fitting for a proper knees-up Eastern European style.
One of Devon's favourite bands cross the border for a special party of cumbia and rumba - it's an infectious party with sounds from South America and Spain.
The most quirky band that you’re likely to come across: 60s surf and garage music is played on original vintage instruments. Their LP ‘Rough Magic’ received airplay from BBC Radio 6 Music’s Gideon Coe.
We're also delighted to welcome Rivermouth, The Acoustic Contingency Band, Rasin' Cain, The Jurassix, B Sharp House Band, Saxminster, Harvey Causley, Lyme Regis Town Band, Lyme Morris, Mischa Jardine, A Cat Called Dave, Pick You Partner and compere Georgia Robson.
